Catherine Anne

 aCatherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born March 4 1954. She is a comedian from Canada actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has won a number prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Awards. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy, O'Hara was part of the main cast for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy show (1976-1984). O'Hara was acknowledged for her stand-up comedy and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
